Worn Out!

It was Kramer's first Thanksgiving in Colorado which also included his first Xmas party at a friends house in Deer Creek Canyon. He has done a lot of running around in the snow over the past few days and I am pretty sure he has been loving it. Kramer is a 10lb dog who thinks he is 100lbs, and he has been hanging out with some big dogs who could have swollowed him whole...Well, this picture was taken Saturday night, after a long exhausting week for Kramer! I think the picture says it all...

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!

Spent my birthday with my friend Jeramy who lives in Colorado Springs and is also new to COLORADO. We watched a movie, ate leftovers from Thanksgiving (thanks to his house-mate Gloria), and chilled in the hot tub outside - with temps in the 30's. Very fun and relaxing evening. Thanks Jeramy!!

Thanksgiving...

Spent thanksgiving with friends from work and their friends and family. First, I went out to Elizabeth, CO and then to Dear Creek Canyon. I had two incredibly good meals. Don't I look well fed???

3 City Tour

It was my first trip back to Texas since I moved to Colorado in July. I must admit that it was a 'bitter sweet' experience. I flew into Corpus Christ (where I was born), then traveled to Austin (where I lived before moving to Colorado), and then drove up to Alvarado (where my sister and her family lives). It was good to see family and friends and I especially found it difficult to leave Austin. I stayed with my old roommate (and great friend) Todd and he threw me a party so that I could see as many of my Austin friends as possible, in the short time I was there. Overall, a very quick trip, but a good one - oh, did I mention that the trip was only for four days? The desire to move back to Texas was strong Today, but once I flew back into Colorado, and saw the mountains, I was reminded of why I had moved to CO in the first place...
